One of only a handful of restaurants with a river view, Gaucho has to have the best location for a restaurant in Richmond. Great Al Fresco dining, stylish interiors and excellent food.
Stein's, Richmond
Stein's is an outdoor-only place to eat right on the river. Very popular at weekends and some evenings, you can only have a drink with food, so order one of their fine hotdogs, grab a cold beer and watch the world go by.
Strada, Richmond
Strada, near Richmond Bridge, is one of my favourite restaurants in Richmond, based on quality of food, service, atmosphere and importantly price.

Only a short walk from Richmond station, this award winning pizza restaurant has a great atmosphere and is a handy stop-off en-route to the station after exploring the area.

Adesso is a small, friendly, unassuming Sicilian-Italian restuarant right at the bottom of Richmond Hill. I love the simple, tasty food here and they have a small number of outdoor seats in the front.

At the foot of Richmond Hill, Wagamama fast, social food on long communal tables. The food is always good but it can be very busy so it's worth arriving earlier if you can.

The chip shop that time forgot! Very good take away fish and chips but it's the dated, formica and cubicled restaurant at the back that always wins me over.
